Our EChise system is brought together using several different softwares and custom programming to bring you the ultimate in a customizable e-commerce selling machine. Below is a list of different softwares we use so you can better understand the foundation.
CRELoaded/OSCommerce
The basis of EChise uses the CRELoaded platform. CRELoaded was a branch of the popular but limited OSCommerce shopping cart system. What makes these a great platform is that they are Open Source. This means the code is open to be modified. Since 2000, CRELoaded has worked on enhancing the OSCommerce platform and in 2003 hooked up with Vivid Racing to really challenge its capabilities. Since then Vivid Racing has focused on making it the ultimate automotive make and model filter e-commerce system. With several different stages of growth, contributions, and custom programming done, we have reached the stage where we can now apply this well customized system to other clients through our EChise program. The system you get from us has been heavily modified from the basic CRELoaded or OSCommerce store. What this means is the systems functions and capabilities far exceed what a generic user would get. The shopping cart is a secure and scalable ecommerce application with shopping cart functionality for store owners who want only the best. It includes shipping, payment, marketing, security, design, and admin features, as well as customer and product management tools.
Wordpress Blog
In addition to the store, we utilize the Wordpress blogging systems. Wordpress is an open source blogging system that is used to write about topics related to or not your business and life. It is a great way to involve customers in discussions and can be used as a full content management system with the addition of any of the available plugins. There are over 100 million different plugins for Wordpress including everything from Google Maps, RSS Feeds, Twitter/Facebook apps, and much more. The blog system is configured for a seamless integration to the look and feel of your store to provide your customers with product, business, and other news.
