The Administrator page has many features for the site admin to keep control of who and what is being accessed. For larger companies, you can set up different types of user groups to login and use the backend admin panel. Besides having the basic administrator who has access to everything, you can setup for example a sales group which can only view the online orders and customer info. You can have a web department group which handles product database updates and even a marketing group which uses the coupon/vouchers, sales/specials, and banner manager tools.

With the groups manager, the main administrator can create each group and check off what sections of the admin panel they are allowed to access. Each user has their email as the login and a custom password which they setup upon email confirmation. As well, all users are tracked each time they visit the admin panel. You can see how many times each user has logged into the admin panel. This is just the first step to an efficient system to handle customers.
