First let’s talk about the payment modules. With the VR eChise eCommerce solution, you can set your site up to accept all major credit cards, Paypal, check or money order, and whatever else you can dream of. The credit card modules work in many different ways. For most people, you already have a CC processing terminal at your place of business. Keep this! You can set up with is called Credit Card with CCV. This basically gathers the customers order information, personal information, and then credit card with CCV security code on the credit card. Once the order comes through, it is your job to process the payment manually through your current terminal then update the status online. This way you can verify the customer information is valid, product is in stock, and nothing has been charged to the customer.

Another solution for accepting credit cards that we like is with Authorize.net. Authorize.net is an online payment gateway that integrates to VR eChise. Once you have you account setup with Authorize.net, you simply enter in your account information in the module. It will then sync with your online store. When customers buy online, it will preauthorize them so all you have to do is fully accept the order.

One of the most common forms of payment is with Paypal.com. Everyone that has used EBay or sold stuff to another person probably has a Paypal account. Paypal is a way to transfer money between users or pay online with a credit card. It is easy to use and since so many consumers have Paypal accounts, it is always a recommended option. All of the same security features are on Paypal to protect you and the customer from Fraudulent purchases.

Now that the Payment information is handled, you need to get shipping rates. As always asked, "How is that done?" Well the VR eChise comes with modules that tie into FedEx, UPS, or even USPS. You can even set your site for FREE Shipping or a Flat Rate system. The UPS module takes no extra effort to setup at all. The FedEx and USPS modules require your account information with them. Sometimes it is good to offer a couple different shipping services for customers to choose from. With all other modules, you can custom set them up to feature handling charges, available for only domestic, or international shipping.
